Paper reporting effect of microstructure geometric form on surface shear stress published in Journal of Fluids Engineering
Managing shear stress in fluid-structure interactions is critical for numerous applications. In the first systematic effort for viscous or slow moving fluids, our team has developed a unique regime map. This regime map is based on use of geometric form for various shapes found in nature and engineering applications to demonstrate how geometric form can be used to manipulate shear stress.
